Urban Cemetery

An old town cemetery map for an urban encounter with the city’s local cultists — or a ghost — necromancer? Whatever the case!

Thoughts

• If the dead are restless, perhaps impose a penalty of sorts for standing next to the gravestones. Damage over time? Save or be grabbed?
• The temple’s balcony provides a good place for a violent incursion.
• This map’s southern & north-east streets can connect directly to the Modular Japanese Alleys & Narrow Streets set!
• On the Bloodied & Sanguine Ritual variants, there’s four blood circles scattered about. Could use them for warping in adds to aid the fight, or for additional cultists to kill to stop the main ritual!

• Urban Graveyard: A temple’s graveyard, lined with marble monuments & tombstones to honor the deceased!
• Haunted: This cemetery is crawling with phantoms! It must have been built on top of an ancient urban burial ground!
• Haunted Awakening: Someone’s channeled the temple’s spire into awakening the denizen of the central crypt. And possibly the rest of the crypt. Or maybe the magic’s coming from the moon?
• Bloodied: Ironic that so many died here, since I think the graveyard’s already full.
• Sanguine Ritual: Oh, well, maybe it’ll be freed up after this blood ritual is done waking everyone.
• Autumn: What better way to spend the late season than dying in a graveyard?
• Winter: I hear the ghosts will show you your own tombstone.
• Spring: Really helps the color of the place.
